Nice jacket. If you're a younger guy with long hair, it'll be less trouble.
I've wanted one for a while, but I couldn't figure out any place I could wear it. So I bought a 70s brown leather trench coat instead.
The modern A2 looks better on bigger guys. And few jackets look good when worn over a bulletproof vest - a popular fashion item in Afghanistan these days.
Very interesting. Could you cite a book/article where you got that from? I like collecting strange factoids like that.
I also have issues with vintage shoes not fitting my swim-fin-shaped feet.
Not to me. For the UK'ers, calling a southerner a yankee is like calling a Scotsman an Englishman. Might get you into a fight in a low bar in Georgia, but that's easy to do anyway.
Personally, I prefer 'Texan' or 'Great Satan.'
Pants in the boots are much more practical. After a long day in muck and mire, just hose off your boots and walk into the house without your pants smelling like *shaving cream, be nice and clean, shave every day and you'll always look keen* :p
Very nice. That blue suit is a thing of beauty - do you know what (besides blue) that color is called? I've been wanting one like that since seeing the original Maxwell Smart wearing one.
Silk scarf. Under the chin, over the ears, tie it on the top of the head. You look pretty silly wearing it with the hat off, though (at least I do). Or you can wear the silk scarf like a bandanna that covers your ears.
Or wear an aviator hat.
