    Levis Type III, 70s? 80s?

Thanks for the reply. I had seen some of these articles, and figured it probably dated to some time between 1971 and sometime in the '80s. I was wondering if the type of tags, color stitching under the pocket flaps, or the back of the buttons could help narrow it down further. What I saw online...

Hi, I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me narrow down the production date of this Levis Type III jacket?

Questions About the United States Navy Peacoat

Thanks. I love the wool on these old coats. I have had a harder time finding a post-war kersey wool coat without damage to the wool (moth bites usually) than I have tracking down a WWII coat in excellent condition.

Questions About the United States Navy Peacoat

Picked up this nice vintage USN Pea Coat in a size 36. Judging from the tag, I'm guessing this is a 1952 issue coat?

D-Pocket Leather Jacket, Black Motorcycle Jacket, Made in Canada, Size 38

Beautiful D-Pocket Leather Motorcycle Jacket, size 38. This was made by Coronet of Montreal. Tag says "Made in Canada." Acme Zipper. Looks like it was made in the 1980s. Montreal was the home of many excellent motorcycle jacket brands from the 1950s-80s. This jacket is cut in the similar style...

    One Tier Above Carhartt Jackets?

I have this exact Jacket in the exact same color combination. I'm not a fan of the chest tag so I removed it with a seam ripper right after I bought it. Great jacket, especially for the price. I'm a size 38 but still found the size small to be too large. After being thrown in the dryer it shrank...

FS: Buco PJ27 Style Jacket by British Cycle Leathers AKA Brimaco

Very cool jacket which is unfortunately too big for me. This is a heavy one, with thick steerhide. Leather is very nice, has great grain and patina. There are a few imperfections including some wear (especially the end of the sleeves), as well as two very small leather repairs that were made at...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

I was just kidding. I'm not in Hong Kong now, but somewhere much colder, just haven't gotten around to updating my location. Last I heard you guys were getting some nasty smog from the other side of the border, and yet Beijing now has blue skies.
