    Happy Holidays, and Thanks!

Happy Holidays Hi all - I've been absent from the Lounge for awhile, but thought I'd check in today and say Merry Xmas and Happy Holidays to all.

    Need Advice

You don't need to remove the entire liner to solve this problem. I also have had an issue with the plastic dome on a liner sticking to the top of my sweaty bald head. So I just remove the plastic from the satin liner. You can very carefully cut around just inside the edge of the plastic...

    Banjo or Coober

To elaborate on Dr. Strange's comments: The main difference between the Cattleman and the Stockman would appear to be that the Cattleman has a wider brim (3 1/4") that is bound, and that is flat across and downturned in the back -with no curl. The Stockman brim (2 3/4") is slightly...

    Banjo Paterson musings

Looks fine to me Bushman Jack - I don't think you have a problem here. There are many hats, including many Akubras, that incorporate that little bulge into the crown as part of the bash. Sure, maybe the Banjo is a bit neater without it, but it is not distracting or bad looking. I have been...

Ebay Hats: Victories, Defeats, Gripes & Items of Interest

I was the one that asked about the lightness on the crest of the crown - but wasn't ready to go for the hat at $100. Hope it meets your expectations. And yes, the bidding probably would have eventually gotten that high anyway Enjoy it - and let's see photos when the hat arrives.

How do you store your hats?

Lefty - Sharp eye. That is exactly right. Move one hat and another one wants to get bumped off its hook. But, other than that minor inconvenience, I am pleased with the rack. Gene - The hooks are spaced well, but I did have to bend the metal a bit to get them all evenly spaced...

    Blades for Brim Trimmer?

Thanks. Now why didn't I think of that? There's some statement about our disposable society, I guess.... [huh]

    Blades for Brim Trimmer?

I recently found one of these brim trimmers on EBay, and now that it has arrived, the blade looks like it needs to be replaced. Anyone have any idea where I might find a replacement blade? I did not take a photo of the blade when I had it apart, but it's an odd shaped single-sided razor blade...

How do you store your hats?

Thank you both! I am very pleased with this approach to storing my hats. It doesn't hold everything, but enough to limit the pile of boxes in the corner.
