Made some pics after work. Had maybe 2 hours of wear in total, arm creases are developing nicely. The jacket is less shiny as the pictures make it appear.

Beautiful jackets! That steerhide is stunning. To my untrained eye the jackets look quite similar. Do you use them for different purposes? For example one for riding, the other daily wear?

I received a jacket last week in premium waxed goat. It's not as shiny as it would appear in my opinion. Since the temperature dropped a little I had a chance to wear the jacket, the sleeves already are breaking in nicely. I'll try to post some pictures tomorrow

So, the jacket arrived yesterday! For someone who only ever had a thin sheepskin fashion jacket this feels like a big step up. This leather definitely needs time to break in. I'm extremely happy with how it turned out, how it feels and how it wears. Now it's time to wait for actual leather...
