Speaking of summerweight D/B suits . . . . . . . my D/B Polo, bought for a formal wedding some six years ago. Possibly not retro enough for this forum, but an attractive suit (IMHO) and very lightweight.

Not as young and handsome as Benny, but . . . . . . similarly suited and hatted. These are photos from several years ago, though I still have the suit and the Borsalino. (The suit, a Polo, fits fine, still, but the Borsalino is a little tight these days . . .)

Having been to BA this past June . . . . . . I can tell you that Gardel is still considered something of a god in his genre of tango. Seeing pictures of Gardel remind me of Buenos Aires, a town which still has an air of Latin sensuality, combined with a stern sense of "propriety" in terms...
