Since these were posted here, I've been waiting for a pair to pop up in my size. I just won pair of these on Ebay UK for $14! The caveat is that the seller lists shipping to the UK only. Is anyone willing to receive these for me and forward them along? Am willing to negotiate items like clothes, jewelry. hand made items or $.

Yeah - no problem. I'll PM you.

SO happy one of us is finally getting them. They are adorable. ;0 Please post pics when you get them. Would love to see them on.

I'm currently lusting after a pair of La Canadienne boots for fall.

Similar in concept to the Marc Jacobs ones I wanted a few years back but couldn't afford :(:

I probably couldn't have walked in them anyways...*sighs* But I could have put them in my closet and admired them!

Will do! They remind me a lot of an olive green pair of Faryl Robins I got recently. I've really been wanting a pair of closed-toed 40's style heels to replace my Remix babydolls. I love the style of the babydolls, but the leather is so stiff and the heel is too high - they're just so uncomfortable. These look like they have a lower heel - I'm hoping so! It wasn't listed in the auction.

I just have to sing the praises of the keds repro wedges.I recently acquired a navy pair off ebay & they are brilliant.I like to have a bit of height but i really have trouble wearing high heels but these are just so comfortable & so easy to walk in,very stable.I can wear them with jeans, pants, dresses or skirts. They are just so versatile & i highly recommend them if you can get your hands on a pair:)

I will totally agree not sure if I have the same ones mine are black uppers with black and white checks on the on the heel. I have wide feet and find it difficult to find shoes that are comfortable especially in a heal and I love my keds.

Inky too bad they are not 7 1/2;)

Does anyone own shoes by Born? I think they're only available in the USA. :( I was wondering how comfortable they are. Sure are cute!

Their website

I have a couple pairs of them. Their level of comfort and sizing varies from shoe to shoe for me. I got a great pair of mary janes from them that I can walk around in all day and they fit great. Then I got a pair of ankle boots - the same size but my feet kinda move around in them, at times causing blisters. So yeah, make sure you can test them out and have a hassle-free return if need be.

Also, the craftsmanship is only about average considering the pricing - the boots scuffed really easily and I think that spoke to the quality of the leather. I may just be picky and cheap, but once I am looking at a $100 pair of shoes, it needs to last me a long time.

Those shoes are super, though. I'll need to try them out and wish for a sale. :)

I am wanting a thicker sole for winter - but I do love a hush puppy!

I think I may be in love with these, to wear with jeans!

I wore these for the first time yesterday. I need to bash the backs a bit - they are quite rigid and were poking me - but aside from that they are very nice! The leopard bit is furry, which I wasn't expecting...

Thank you for filling me in on them jillybean! I'm with you on that. Once I hit the $100 mark I definitely expect better quality. Unfortunately that's not always the case. If I ever see some Born shoes in person, I'll try them on.

I've had really good luck with them myself. I first bought a pair of wide toed oxfords to teach in which I adored. Those had good support, and were super comfortable. That pair lasted me a couple years with heavy usage.

Having had that experience, when I needed a pair of sandals for a trip, I tried on some Born. They were a bit more than I wanted to pay, (reduced to $70 at Macy's) but I think I made the right choice. I have them broken in, and I am quite pleased with them.

My choices in the Born brand tend to be a little more utilitarian, and less fashion oriented, but the pairs I've tried have been marvelous.

I haven't checked Naturalizer's site in awhile. But they have some pretty cool retro styles in a new line called Naya.

So cute!
Unfortunately, the last pair of Naturalizer's I bought didn't hold up so well.
So yeah, $120 seems a bit steep.... :(

That's a shame! I have a pair that are almost 10 years old and powering on.

I know! I think it might just have been the style I got.
I have an old patent leather Naturalizer bag that is in fabulous condition, but the soles on my last pair of shoes wore fast.
Thankfully, I got them at season end clearance for under $20!
