Still waiting for EA to get my return. Its been 13 days now... ugh. I see the larger sizes are selling out again. I hope they hang on to a 59 for me!

I have a question on the Akubra Campdraft - What quality levels of felt does it come in?

I have one that is in Imperial Quality and was wondering if they were made in any of the other levels of quality.

John, only version offered is Imperial. We have discussed here trying to get a run of Moonstone color & possibly lobbying for a Heritage version but we couldn't get Hats Direct to do the Moonstone run. We may need to try again since we have greater numbers....

Damn straight we do! The sheer number of new bluegrass owners alone since December could probably give us all the support we need. A heritage-level CD might re-instill my Campdraft-lust.

Campdraft DeLuxe???

Okay, if we are to start a campaign for a Heritage level Campdraft, what color? Do we go for an existing color they offer to increase odds or go for a true one-off request with a color not currently available?
My preference would be a Moonstone Heritage Campdraft...

The last time, we just started sending emails to Hats Direct.

You can count me in on a Heritage Campdraft. I would love it in Regency Fawn (grayish, brownish olive) - I have an Angler in this color but it's such a casual outdoors hat with vent holes and a chinstrap that I don't wear it except when working in the yard.
Moonstone works for me, too, though.

I have yet to obtain a light grey hat (well, if Bone counts that's not true, but still). I wouldn't prefer Moonstone over Glen Grey (I would rather have Black, Navy, Mid-Brown) due to my complexion.

However, you can chalk me up for one in Moonstone if it'll help get this movement off the ground.

I don't know Everything Australian has been getting us the Bluegrass Green CD's and they are cheaper and have cheaper shipping then Hat's Direct. Maybe EA could get the biz.

In the past Hats Direct came through with the Glen Grey run, so that is why we targeted them for the Moonstone run that never took off.
My personal experiences have been better with Hats Direct from a customer service standpoint. I bought a couple of CD's from EA because of their cheaper shipping costs but they really dropped the ball on my Mid-Brown one. The other advantage to Hats Direct, is that they set a precedent with having the proprietary Federation IV offering.
In the end, I'm up for anybody that can get it done!

Deluxe Moonstone? I'm in. I am enjoying my Silverbelly CD. It goes with most everything I wear to work and fits like a glove. I think a deluxe Camp Draft would be on everyones' list if they could get it.

Thanks James. How popular is the Campdraft there in Australia? I am sure local sales potential would be a factor in any dealer doing this specialty run in addition to mail order demand.
