Thanks herringbonekid!
I love the 1920s and try to emulate the style with my every-day dress!
Unfortunately I have nothing vintage, the suit is Si by Studio Italia, a charcoal black with very light pin-stripe and I'd put it at about 2010/2011. The waistcoat is something my neighbour donated (from about the 80s, no brand name) and the boater is by Hills Hats of New Zealand.

I have to agree, I feel with the sweater over the collar, it looks odd. It looks more symmetrical, and correct with the shirt collar over the sweater. You also can see the tie and collar bar with the shirt collar over the sweater.
