Here we go, my new Wayfarer arrived yesterday. Will spare you of the unboxing video.. :)
Size 38". Fit is bang on but I better won't do any Thanksgiving dinner 2nd helpings and stay clear of the apple pie or else... ! My wife's first comment: does Aero do womens jackets too? I guess that's a compliment. The jacket is lighter (obviously) than the Barnstormer and the Tumbled hide feels softer, or rather less stiff. Loving the lining, too.
Thoughts?

looks the biz love it. The colour of leather and Harris tweed are a fantastic match. Is the leather flexible from the start?

Plus one with what HD said regarding combination of lining & leather. I would love to have a jacket lined with Harris Tweed. Unfortunately the weather in N Texas is generally too warm, and the heaviest lining for me is body shell lined with moleskin.

In my opinion, it is noticeably 'more flexible' than what I remember the FQHH Barnstormer to be 2 years ago. Leather/lining match is nice indeed, it is the 'coloured check' version (except that you won't get to choose the actual lining as availability of the fabric is not guaranteed).

I know the subject's been beat to death by me, but the front piping reminds me of some of the 60s-70s East West leather jackets. Fortunately that's where the comparisons stop!
Very nice. The lining/label alone are drool worthy.

Just ordered basically the same jacket (color/lining) with some modifications. Peculiar that there were no photos or first-hand references to the jacket before now. Your jacket looks very sharp. Even more anxious for mine after seeing your photos. How long did it take from placing the order to receiving the jacket?

WTC - the order was finalized in mid-September ...so a bit over 2 months. Will post a couple of fit pics.
