I guess this would be a good place to ask... :p

A few years ago when Mercedes came out with the M class suv a friend of my family got ahold of one before they were oficially released on the market (by about 3 months) I dunno, he worked in the auto industry for most of his life. Anyway. With them came a sample cd that was meant to show off the sound system. Now here in lies the basis for my question. On that cd was an extended version of Dave Brubeck's Take Five. It was longer than any version I have ever heard. Since then I have yet to find where the copy came from. Every one at the nearest Mercedes dealer is either to snobby to answer me or they are to new and weren't working with the dealer at the time.

Any clue what album may contain the super extended long play cut of doom.... Wait... how about just the longer than normal cut- that last one may be too long. lol lol

If the track has Desmond on alto it would be from Columbia period--and there were live albums-as I recollect
the 45 rpm version just cut the drum solo-lp "time out "I think had full length-my bet is this cut is from a later period -mercedes possibly wanting digital recording to show off their car audio sound system. maybe on Telarc. label ..
