My padded Thedi cafe racer, picked up a few months ago for a good price from Thurston Bros. Waiting for warmer weather to wear it well. Fits well, though a bit tight in the armholes and upper chest - hopefully the leather will open up with wear. Quality & workmanship is indeed very good. Leather looks and feels very nice.

Point to note - the collar does feel a little on the wide side, but I can live with it!

Not my cup of tea. Think the padding throws it off for me, too uniform ( Star Trekie or tv space show-ish ) or something. Do Greek people have fatter necks than the rest of us? Wondering why on both jackets the necks seem so rounded and wide. When it breaks-in it might transform nicely. Keepin' it real bro.....................

Covered earlier in the thread, the neck is not wide, it's an optical illusion because it's a short racing collar that doesn't extend up the next like most mandarin collars.

Mn. I wear a leather jacket with a collared shirt so often, I'd be wary of a mandarin collar in general, but to my eye these lower ones look much better than a higher version.

I understand totally. But if you have to tell people repeatedly that the neck is not wide, measure the collar ( imo its not the collar measurement that is needed-its the neck hole itself that should be narrower to compensate for the smaller collar) and come to the conclusion that its an optical illusion.......... ( which is what everyone sees!! ) something is NOT rite. The cut of that jacket may not be perfect for YOU.

I'd actually prefer the collar that way...there's nothing worse than a cafe racer with a choker type collar that constantly hits your chin, binds up your neck when turning your head. I actually really like the totally collarless version of the CR as well and I think the Thedi hints more toward that design...

I've never seen the totally collarless version, I must check that out. But just visualizing it........... I probably would NOT like it at all. No collar on a MC jacket?......Hmmmmm!!
