It's a good looking holster - hope my comes out that nice. I've found some holsters for S&W K frames will often take a SAA (usually it has to be an open bottom), but the New Service needs something bigger and will work in S&W N frame holsters. Now if I could just find some friends who would give me El Paso Saddlery holsters . . .
TPD, that holster that the Army Special is in is an El Paso. It's for a 4 3/4" SAA! Fits like a glove! One of my old compadre's gifted it to me.

Very nice! The Centennials are the classiest revolvers S&W ever made. I have one of the early 640s from when they were reintroduced around 1990 & a recent 642 - both are great guns, but one day I hope have an original Model 40 or 42.

the new vs. the old in model 19's... both 3's... I wonder what the glock will be worth in 45 years?

Very nice!!! Well I have heard of the Glock being referred to as the "Model 10 of the 21st Century" just like the k frame being referred to as the "Peacemaker of the 20th Century". I don't know what they will be worth in 45 years, but right now, at least in this area there is a demand from people for the Gen 1 and 2 models. They don't want the finger groves and they are offering and paying a lot for them.

Those are some fairly chesty handloads I am not sure I would shoot through a 73 Winchester or Police Positive Special in that strip, too. "Yuuuuuuuge" flat point on the bullet; while they aren't quite what people wrote about from shooting the old HV .32-20 through a pistol, just going by recoil and the tink when the bullet hits steel, they are definitely warmer than any factory "for all guns" ammo....
