Fellow G-1 Collectors,
Was just inquiring as what you think a fair price would be for a B series G-1 jacket (leather in great condition, collar in great condition, lining in great condition, waist band knits in good condition, cuffs have some moth holes...overall a very outstanding jacket). I understand that they are the most sought after jackets. Thanks for your advice and counsel.

Cheers,
Mike

What size? If is in a popular size say 44/46 it will be more than a smaller size say 38/36. I think a fair price for a nice 44 will be 280.00.

Hey! Leave some 46s-48s for the rest of us! ;)

I need to find me a nice early original G-1 some time. It's good to know that one can be had for a reasonable price. Nice find G-1_etc!

Size would be 46.
I believe I know the jacket you are referring to as I saw a nice B series 46 when when I was looking through the G-1s on eBay yesterday. $650.00 seemed a little steep to me for a jacket which probably should have the cuffs replaced. On the other hand, B series G-1s do not come along very often in this size and it does look to be in great condition otherwise. You have to wonder how long it might be until the next one comes along if you let this one get away...
I have purchased knits on several occasions from the gentleman selling this jacket and I have found him to be a fair and courteous merchant. He definitely knows all about flight jackets and their component parts.
If I did not already have a closet half full of G-1s (some new, some old, some in-between) I would have bought this one when I saw it yesterday. Good luck!
