$169 — EXCELLENT CONDITION!!!
I just received a custom Aero from Thurston therefore I am consolidating down to just a few to open up my closet space, and so I’m putting up some extremely nice, high-quality leather jackets by popular makers (to this forum) for extremely low prices.
Here’s an awesome, traditional, original Vanson Comet. The Comet was designed and constructed with a shorter body length, making it sit on your shoulders (instead of on your thighs and hovering at your ears) while sitting on your motorcycle. But I got it not for the bike but for that classic ROCKER look. Easy to wear anywhere from the house to the coffee bar to work and to the night on the town... with rebellious style.
Tag Size 38. I’m 5’7” and 148lbs, and it fits me perfectly. Specs:
- Pit 20.5
- Sleeve 23.2
- Back Length 20.5
- Shoulders 18.25
- Bottom Hem 17.5
Basically a “yard-sale” price for a Vanson Comet that still needs to be broken-in some more: $169
As with all Vanson leather, this leather is thick and tough, yet pliable and easy to wear. It’s a hefty jacket, but wearable late into the spring or early fall. (Heck, wear it throughout the cooler afternoons and evenings of summer, if you want.) Check out the beautiful grains that are starting to develop:
