HI Everyone
Just wanted to give you a "heads up" that Janene and I have had to close down the website earlier than expected. The property in Oregon is on its way to closing, making my presence there frequent, and we have a buyer for the entire inventory SO...there she goes!!! We will open it back up when I get everything in Oregon settled and the hat shop built. I am still working on hats, just can't use the site.

Art, how big of a place did you end up getting? Is it just property or does it also have a house and other buildings on it? Hope I'm not being too nosey, but I'm pretty excited about having a kindred spirit moving into my neck of the woods. I'm glad things are moving right along for your move.

Fedoralover, we bought 175 acres of raw land so we have to built home, shop, and barn asap!! Along with 1/4mile of driveway, 1/2 mile of fence, and on and on..

Yup Sharpey, ordered it this last week and it will be delivered the day after closing, along with a portable shed for it and initial set of tools.
Geese, having a hard time sleeping..just keep building things in my sleep.

Ah...still have to get used to that, Art. what am I going to do when I roll into SF on business? You are one of my heroes in life (not Hogan's by the way), but I admire how you make your passions reality. It's not easy. Same with Charlie--from where he is and where he was to what he has created. Against the tide, against the mainstream, you two bend reality to suit your dreams. And that, my friend, belongs in an entrepreneurial place like Oregon for sure. May fortune continue to shine brightly for you and Janene. I will most definitely visit you on a future hat (and horse) pilgrimage! You inspire me to no end.

Wow, Art. It sounds like an incredible new beginning! I wish you all the best. Can you update your progress with pictures? I'd love to see what your surroundings will look like. Heck, I've got an uncle in Ashland, so if I ever make it out that way, I'd be tempted to say hello!

Thanks Bink, Ashland is only a few miles away as the crow flies!! I'll try to get some property pics up as soon as time allows. Needless to say, it's pretty spectacular!!!

I think this needs to be said about Mr. Fawcett.
He never toots his own horn.
His works speaks for him.
He is loved by all
When abused he turns the other cheek
He will help friend or foe
He speaks from his heart and not his ass.
He has one speed 100 miles per hour.
Rated in the top 2 in stone work if not # 1
He never speaks ill of anyone
He is my best friend not just to me but to all that will allow him in there heart
He walks the walk and never talks the talk.
His head size remains the same.
He would give you the shirt from his back
He has class.

I could say more but we all know the rest about him. Its called humility And if you have to look it up you don't have it.

Colt, I just PMed you but thought I should post it here as well for everyone's benefit.
I have about 16 PB bodies available with most being the fino weave ( approx 700 count) so I can fill orders for the next month. My property closes escrow on May 10 so after that I'm going to be swinging a hammer on the new shop for a few months. In short, I have the next month to work on your hats.
