Some great colours in that Dobbs, Joe. It's a nice looking piece of tweed, too.

Dobbs Harris Tweed

This Dobbs warm tone Harris tweed was one of the travel mates of my powder blue Strat. Probably would not have been something I would pick up on its own but I really like the color on this tweed. It is a tan warm tone base with bits of green, yellow, oranges, reds, browns and blue.

Another prize from my good friend across the pond in Italy, @Daniele Tanto who sent me this most excellent Berteil that started life in Paris.

I'm always pleased when a box of hats arrives from Oslo. However, I was particularly happy with this batch. I'll show them off over the next few days.

First up, my first Campdraft in Blue Grass Green. I really like the shape and flow of the curves on this one.

Thanks Panos @PanosChris for another great deal. View attachment 319138 View attachment 319139 View attachment 319140 View attachment 319141 View attachment 319142
Awesome Steve. I think, now, everyone has one but me. Looks great.

Le Chevron ‘Genuine Velour’

This was the other travel mate of my blue Strat. I seem to be accumulating a number of these fuzzies through no intention of my own other than most of them have arrived with other hats I have purchased. This one seems very close in color to the Loden one I got a few weeks back. The gold and blue/black woven hat band on this hat is fairly unique. Under the hood... the manufacturing tag appears this is likely a 1960s HCA creation... my guess would be Dobbs or Knox

Thanks Dave. I have to admit, seeing your Campdrafts among others really got me looking at them. Akubra sure make a top notch hat.
I work outside quite a bit. I have a 7 or 8 Akubras and I am never afraid to wear them doing physical labor or running heavy equipment, places I would be very much afraid to wear most of my vintage hats. I find that they are practically indestructible and great quality for a relatively low price.

Second hat of the Oslo batch. This one had a sneak preview in the Western thread, but I neglected to say what it was. View attachment 319369 View attachment 319370 View attachment 319371 View attachment 319372 View attachment 319373
An Acubra Woomera in sage green.

I'm planning on giving it a Tom Mix type bash, but right now, I'm enjoying looking at it as is.

Steve, the Woomera is a great blank canvas for a western. That’s a color I’ve not seen, either. @Hurricane Jack has a couple you may have seen, both with nice creases and brim shapes. If not, look them up to see what can be done.
