Well, I finally pulled the trigger, and ordered a Barbour International. Does anyone else have one? I've wanted one for years, and I'm thinking of returning to riding a vintage Triumph again (It's in a shed at my Dad's place), and this might just be the push I need to get moving on it-I'm also lusting after one of those Ural sidecar outfits, too.

I've had it for a week or two now, And I am quite pleased with it. It is somewhat close fitting, and the fit was just right for me (maybe I'm actually a "41", if clothes came in that size- so I ordered a 42). I always wanted one back when I first started riding British bikes (back in 1980),but I always seemed to need to spend the money on the bikes then, and never got around to getting the jacket. I always envied the guys at the British bike rallies who had them, well worn and covered with rally pins. I've got a lot of riding to do to make mine look like that.

I was given a Barbour Northumbria in 1992 as a Christmas present by my parents and its still going strong. Needs re-waxing and has had a new zip fitted, couple of holes sewing up but will be good as new. It cost £140.00 at the time but I have had it for 15 years and it is warm, the pockets are roomy and equally smart in town or in the Country.
