i love those kind of bags.
i got a similiar one in a charity shop for next to nothing as well.
i dont use it much though as it freaks some people out.
someone told me it reminded them of the mask of tutankhamun...[huh]

I finally got round to photographing my birthday purchases. Apologies for the rubbish pics!
First of all is the Green Dress. It has a tie neck & purple, white & brown flower print. The original belt was missing so I got a cheap cincher from Primarche.
Next, a fabulous red & white dress with white belt (which I don't feel is long enough to tie in any kind of nice way & white silk rosette. All I need is someone to take me out dancing!!
(BIG apology for the awful picture of that one!!!)
And finally the prettiest dress I own I think. Button down front top & embroidery detail on collar, sleeves & pockets. I wore this on my birthday and I felt so pretty
New bag will go with this one oh yeah!!!
All for the wonderful price of £29. Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!

I've had a few bags like that from Charity shops, some of the ladies have even put them aside for me, knowing I'd be in on certain days and wouldn't say no to buying them! Bargain

That's funny this happens to me too. I always buy whatever they save for me no matter what it is. Just because they took the time to think of me, and know my shopping schedule.

Here's my recent buys:
This one in white and the length sits more on my mid-calf. A bit low for work so I may add a hook and eye.
This one is much cuter in person,not nearly as boxy on top and love the lavender gingham print.

I got all these vintage hair clips & combs in one lot on ebay.
I was chuffed to bits as they cost the same amount as another one of the large ones I was watching!
Anyone any idea how I use these ones?[huh]
The combs have the name Harrison scratched into them which suggests to me they are War time.
My favourite is the large one in the bottom left of the first picture but these 2 are cute too.
I plan to wear the large one in a french roll to a wedding in April.
