I seem to recall that TNT or TBS(one of Ted Turner's tv stations) colorized not only The Maltese Falcon, but Treasure...............I recall at the time being disgusted by the whole process. I was so distracted by the color, I stopped 'watching' the movie, if oyu take my meaning.also, The Left Hand of God was shot in color...............good flick.............worth a look............
