I think it would be fun to start a thread with the different odd laws in case we visit other states.
---------
Did you know in Arkansas:
Smoking with young children in the car can be dangerous to their health, and in Arkansas it's also against the law.
The law was passed in 2008, one reason why some smokers 40/29 talked with had no idea it even exists. Children under 6 or 60 pounds.

In Little Rock, AR, there’s a law on the books warning that engaging in lascivious banter (flirting) may result in a 30-day jail term. Another outdated law in New York City decrees that men can be fined $25 for gazing suggestively at a female; a second conviction stipulates the offender don a pair of blinders whenever he goes outside.

Monkeys are forbidden to smoke cigarettes in South Bend, Ind...lol lol lol

In Hollywood, CA, it's still legal to herd sheep along Hollywood Boulevard, provided you have fewer than 2000 head.

Isn't that what the star maps do? Although I think that they went over the quota of 2k.

In an attempt to “foster kindness” in the citizens of New Jersey, the month of May is designated “Kindness Awareness Month”.

Obviously, when I lived there no one knew this existed.

In Augusta, ME...."To stroll down the street playing a Violin is against the law".

And apparently, It's illegal to park in front of Dunkin Donuts in South Berwick.

Amy Jeanne,

Didn't you know that in Jersey, Kindness is a sign of Weakness? And so is a proper lane change indicate signal.lol

The only worst drivers on the entire continent of North America, are those on the Merritt Parkway. Where the State Motto evidently is: Either your an Esso Bee or I'm an Esso Bee. 'And I'm gonna beat you to it!

Seriously driving in Connecticut makes a James Bond movie look like drivers ed. lol

I was born and raised in Jersey and lived there until I was 31. No one can merge, either. That is painfully evident when driving in Philadelphia. 99% of the time when someone merges incorrectly they have a yellow license plate!!! But I don't think NJ has the worst drivers. That goes to another state I won't mention on here lol

But D.C. isn't a state.
Seriously though, D.C. area drivers aren't that ridiculously rude, just ridiculously incompetent.
