    6 7/8 size hats grey Borsilono and Dobbs

    Grey Dobbs no size tag, but both hats were bought together and appear to be sized the same. There was a tag that said long oval though. The brim is 3 inches wide, with a 1/2 inch binding. The crown is 5 1/2 inches tall, and the ribbon is 1 .25 inches wide. I can veryfy the date being 1952...

    I just recieved a grey hat off of ebay, the felt is just fantastic! and it feels like its never been worn, but it smells like its been sitting in a cuban cigar shop, and some of the brim, has a yellow tinge to it. Is there anything i can do? and will a reblock solve the problem? Adam

    well You could send that to someone to reblock and it would come back looking like an entire diffrent hat, and it probably would take the smell away, as i know steve uses woolite when he reblocks, cant speak of others though. A new ribbon could also transform the hat. Depending on what you have...
