Well... he is but a hero to boot. The Watchmen by Alan Moore is an awesome book (not just an awesome comic book/graphic novel) and was listed among Time magazine's 100 best novels of all time. It is, quite simply, a must read.
Totally bad ass but it also looks like it is a found photo and is thirty or more years old (in all the best ways of course). I think it's the VW bus in the background.
My guess would be in two parts: red wine is good for you (in fact I think I'm going to just drink a bottle of cab sav instead of going to the gym from now on) and they, at least in my reading and experience, there is not much intermeal snacking and this whole feast affair is conducted over...
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I read somewhere that academic garb has/had to be worn when sitting for exams &c in English universities (e.g. Oxford).
I don't know if it's a majority but there are quite a few... wouldn't be so bad if they were on forward and straight. I have almost had to physically stop myself from straightening a cap or two and pulling up some sadly sagging trousers. A fashion trend of my generation that I truly cannot fathom.
This comment, and others (and the fact that ascots/cravats are wicked) has made me want to take the plunge. Lionheart mentioned that his favorites 'J.Press and Ralph Lauren' and Spitfire endorced www.tiewarehouse.co.uk. Any other suggestions on where to get them, other than the usual...
The one thing I can't stand about Swiss Army knives is that they (at least to my knowledge) want for a clip which keeps my knife (currently a Gerber Paraframe) out of my pocket junk.
I'm thinking of upgrading to a multitool--the Leatherman skeletool CX--to have more than just a blade and to...
I have one, but like you, don't get to wear it very often (read: ever) but inspired by some of the pictures here maybe I'll start wearing it again.
Due respect to everyone else, you all look great, but Dinerman you inspire me!
Is that really a risk? The hat perhaps (still new to the hat thing) but brown shoes seem like they would go great with a navy suit; in fact, I think most people (with care for fashion/neatness/&c) would reach for brown shoes over black with a dark blue suit. Then again, maybe I'm wrong.
Nope; The Comedian was based on the DC Comics character Peacemaker. For more information on the origins of the Watchmen, visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watchmen#Characters or your local library.
