I apologise for posting SUCH horrid pictures - I wish one of you lovely ladies would make a tutorial on how to take decent pictures of a hairdo without resorting to mirrors and terrible lighting and awkward angles.
But I'm so excited right now, as quite suddenly a bad hair day turned into a...
Alice~, it is. Even on longer hair the layers will be the same, inly the length will vary.
After some really stressful months I've rewarded myself with a visit to my stylist and this is what we did, going absolutely by the middy diagram, and cutting 4 layers.
Un-curled middy pictures ahead...
Katiesparkles, oh, I can commiserate! I've been recently informed that I can no longer order Yardley of London EDT from the UK, because aerosols are not shipped to the continent anymore, safety measures being what they are.
I'm pretty nervous about the Art Deco Dita collection, afraid it won't...
I need some help. :)
I'd like to order the Harlow bullet bra, but I'm rather unsure about the cupsize. I usually wear a German and Euro 75E, 80DD (whichever I can find!). Now I've read that at What Katie Did, you go down a cup, but, understandably, I don't want to end up spilling out of my bra...
I have wide feet, too. *sob*
I don't have cankles, but i know nothing with an ankle strap suits me, either. I guess the only solution is to throw envious looks at those who can wear them! :D
Jokes aside, I think the best thing to do is to try on lots of shoes, even those you'd never thought...

And Ashley aka LisaFreemontStreet has several, I believe.
This is probably a unpopular one, but I'll make my stand - Joan Crawford.
She may have had faults (please no wire hanger jokes, unless you can expain at least half the discrepancies in that book), but she had real talent, and an incredible drive, a steely determination, which I cannot help but...
I think - and please note, I'm hardly an expert on the matter - cosplaying is more about becoming your favourite character from a book/film/anime/manga.
Now, even if we only take those people in consideration, who just happened to stumble into vintage - well, I don't think I've come across a...
Miss Retro, the reviews on MakeUp Alley are rather mixed. Most reviewers agree though, that it lengthens, but does not give volume, and is indeed waterproof.
I am still undecided myself whether to order or not.
project:girl, this is just offf the top of my head, and it's done with a curling iron, but maybe you can adapt it? Standing pincurls, perhaps?

Also, that community has a Marilyn Monroe tag - might be something useful there, too.
Actually, in German "Anzug" is the commonplace word for a suit.
In Russian the word "костюм" appeared around the 30s/40s. Before that, I believe, the parts of a gentleman's clothes were referred to separately, and in general one would use the words "одежда/одеяние", which both mean...
