That mid-brown looks fantastic, Dundee. I've gotta say that my Silverbelly CD is far and away my favorite hat. I'm thinking of dropping a note to Hats Direct or Akubra...a Moonstone version would be fantastic! I'd also be curious to see pics of the blue/green, if anyone has one.- jazzncocktails

Fitting a Grosgrain Band
Hi Redhawks, I recently put a new 1.5" ribbon on a Campdraft and had the same problem initially. I followed the same advice the gents here give: make sure the ribbon fits snugly to the hat, and then wet/steam the top of the ribbon...it should shrink it down a bit to conform to your taper. :arated: I agree with RBH...and the brim looks fine to me. It may look a bit wide because your crown is smaller than that of a Fed IV from Akubra, but it seems to fit you fine.- jazzncocktails
