I'm with RebeccaMUA.
Personally, I think if it looks good on you, wear it.
I'm pale and all about full face. I hate how long it takes me, but I love results. Everyone I come across thinks I'm much younger than I am...so, I guess it works. Without makeup, I'm a hag...What can I say?
Makeup...
Vintage Betty, I love it! I have a White brand treadle, that was my great grandmother's. It's almost exactly the same. The difference is the scroll in the front....but the drawers and everything are the same, right down to the wood work. I have to find someone to repair the treadle, it's been...
I've wondered about Alli, as well, but the side effects scared me too.
I agree about moderation. I've been at every end of the spectrum. I found that weight programs are the most helpful. Those held me accountable and I need the hand slap. ;)
I've tried diet pills (they irritate my heart...
Lillemore, don't give up! I have naturally red/purple lips, and let me tell you, lipstick alone, will not work on me. I have to mix, as well. I have been known to mix black and brown eyeliners into my lipstick.
I think everyone has their own shade of red. I I tend to favor matte in a ruby...
I like the roman coin one, nice. I love the unexpected.
RebeccaMUA, off the record; How do you like being a MUA? I am hoping to start school in L.A., in January, at a MUA school. I've been wanting to tell you, I like your work (your site). Looks like you're having a lot of fun. ;)
I don't know where I'm at. When I was in high school, I was measured
5'5 1/2, I believe. I have some back issues, so whom knows now. I wouldn't doubt I shrunk.... dang it! I'm like a lot of us shorties, I wear heels to compinsate for it.
I've been wanting to go trekking. My son is 13 now, so now I have a buddy to do it with. Anyone do the sierra Nevada? When I do this, I'm just bringing a sleeping bag and a couple of bear canisters...nothing too heavy.
KY Gentlemen, yeah, I haven't been inside camping world yet. Only...
My only thought was that just about everything, back in the day, had "made in the USA" (with the thoughts that it appears to be an american design) stamped on it. [huh]
It's funny, my mom and I just gave the hot sticks to goodwill, a few years back. Sometimes I wished I had kept them, but all I rememeber was the fuzz created in my hair. Hope you guys have better luck with them.
64tonya looks pretty good! My hair just fuzzed. When I was using them, I looked...
I may end up pulling a britney on my hair. hahaha! lol
One thing that always worked for me, was only washing the roots and let the shampoo rinse through the ends (this was before my heat abuse). Once I gave my hair a break from bleach, for 6 or 8 months, that helps, but I wouldn't recommend...
I brushed it out...I think it might just be the body I don't like. One thing is for sure, Lotta body definately works (thanks ladies, I don't need a ton of spray!), it's windy as all heck and the curl is still there. lol I think a lot of the reason the curl won't relax is because my hair is...
I love Cardigans! Mainly for their warmth. I'm cold all the time and wear them all year long.
Lady Day, keep your eyes peeled. Ann Taylor Loft always carries nice cardigans. They are a great quality. They can be a bit pricey, but the ones that come out around the holidays have ruffling and...
KY Gentlemen, I like your idea of camping, but I camp a lot in Socal, and they you can't make your own fire ring. If I may add a couple of other things... Buck knife and a dog. Hey, I'm a woman and camp with just my son. ;)
I dream of camping where it's unpopulated. Even dispersed camping...
Well, I did the foam and Lotta body. Bleh! the curls are there, I'm just not digging, well, the curls. I wanted it a little more relaxed. I'm thinking about trying socks, like I did when I was a kid. Anyone done socks lately?
