An ideal partner would be stylish and charismatic, non-monogamous and of ambiguous gender identity, but I guess the ideal is pretty rare for all of us!
I agree, I have found some trouble finding firm open bottom girdles in smaller sizes. I think it is easier to find panty girdles with garter clips in smaller sizes online, especially vintage ones. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places
It wasn't on television today either (instead we watched a Star Trek movie marathon!) but my brother and his girlfriend got a Red Ryder and a leg lamp for Christmas from her parents!
I think making a point of projecting an image of chaos or disorder is all right, in the same way that intentionally creating an image of order or tradition is pretty cool. I think it's admirable to cultivate and achieve a look. Why not? It's just fashion.
Well that reminds me more of my dad when he forgets to put on a belt than it reminds me of anyone my age! The young people are all about hiking the boxers UP and letting the pants sag! Let's get with the program here.
I'm listening to Strange Overtones from David Byrne and Brian Eno's new album "Everything That Happens Will Happen Today". I like it a lot. I saw David Byrne in concert last week! It was a religious experience.
Actually, we got tons of kids trick-or-treating last night. Between 6 and 8 pm, there were groups of children knocking at the door at least every five minutes. Most of them very well-costumed, too! We handed out wrapped candy and cans of soda. We threw a dance party and served the good stuff...
The scene of the rape was so heartbreaking to me. The look on her face fading and freezing on a totally vacant expression and the lingering shot of her view of the couch, table, etc. I was surprised (impressed) at how much it was in Joan's point of view, rather than depicted distantly...
Peggy's new haircut and style from last week's episode is lovely, very modern (for the year) and indicative of the changes ahead for her character. I was kind of bummed out with the writers having Kurt as the 'hairdressing gay best friend' as soon as he comes out.
I liked Pete in California...
Sometimes I pin it to a girdle/garter belt/underwear, but only if the fabric isn't so delicate it will rip. If I'm wearing pantyhose, I find tucking the bottom of the shirt into the waistband of the pantyhose helps it from creeping back out. Lovely photo, by the way.
Probably just by sewing a couple of dresses together and styling our hair and makeup identically. I'm going to base the look on Daisy and Violet Hilton, I think.
It's not vintage but my roommate and I are going as Scully and Mulder.
I love the tattooed lady idea for a Halloween costume, from the original post. We're throwing a "circus freaks" themed party. My roommate and I are going to be conjoined twins.
