Any meat that is not meant for cooking is probably healthier than beef. These animals are not given drugs to make them grow faster and fatter. Buffalo, gator, ostrich, kangaroo, elk, snake, yak...
These are proteins anyway. A piece of delicatessen for guys like Bear Grylls :D
I have a very athletic build and I need at least a 46. I decided to try Cockpit jackets because they have larger sizes. The bi-swing back offers plenty of room.
When I purchased mine, I asked the seller to grab a meter and find me a jacket with the the back length and shoulders width that I...
I have land line and one of these on the wall;
...in perfect shape and still working (no coins version). Whenever somebody wants to make a phone call and asks me where is the phone, I point to the wall :D People freak out.
These particular brand doesn't make them too wide around the ankle;
The yellow version was a big hit in the south of Europe some time ago;
I've never been into yellow shoes :p but they don't go bad with jeans. For desert are perfect;
These pair belonged to a German reporter that was...
The US Air Force used chukka boots in the Pacific during wwII :) I like them whenever you don't need a full boot. They go perfect with khakis, a t-shirt and your A-2 or any other flight jacket.
Some of the Cockpit stuff is not historically accurate, for instance their ANJ-4. However I don't think their vintage G-1s are very off. They are very close to the 7823C G-1 spec. Wearability is great :) for me the best of the deal so far. I think these jackets are more wearable than any other...
I wear a 46 long. A couple of months ago I purchased an unpatched version of their Forrestal G-1, this one;

It is their vintage G-1 but with an A-2 collar (ANJ-3 in fact). I sent the shop my measurements...
Nice pair of chukka boots
I just got me a new pair of these boots to replace my old ones;
These kind of shoes were used by British troops in the desert during WWII - desert rats :)
...and I thought you may like the shoe maker's shop. They are from Spain...
:D We could deviate even more because there is another point of view that could be quite interesting. Wife's perspective. :p
Let's say that you are having diner at home. You're about to give a bite to that steak your wife prepared for you, alongside a hearty ration of healthy veggies, like if...
I think there are some differences. Here, whenever you are scammed, you file a report to the police and at some point, the state acts on its own initiative, regardless the cost or chances of success.
However, I'm not claiming that one approach is better than the other. Actually, I really...
What's so bad about talking if you are willing to buy or not? The deal is pretty harsh; $1500 and +1 year waiting time, almost 2 years for a guy that previously posted here. The point of view of customers in this case is quite interesting.
It matters to me :) I don't care what John thinks, I'd like to know what we Fedora Loungers that had in mine to get us a GW are going to do now. :cool:
Smithy, this is the seller's point of view again. I wonder what we customers think about it.
Before the price rise I was considering a GW. Back then the waiting time was a deal breaker for me. Now it is both, waiting time and four figures price. So you can count me out.
Wow, that makes no sense to me because I'm under a different law system. I think in Europe, not sure about England because they have the Common law, nobody considers the cost for taxpayers.
So, does this mean that in the USA one guy can commit fraud as long as he keeps the prosecution costs...
Yeah, the point of view of the seller is crystal clear, there is no argue about that. Another discussion would be the point of customer or ex-customers. Leaving aside GW product is top-notch, are we willing to drop 1500 and wait one year or more for a jacket?
I agree :) I have seen this very same behavior in other products like custom cars or custom guitars. You first can't cope with your backlog. Since you have plenty of incoming orders, you rise your prices.
You pass from a high-end product to an ultra high-end line. Then you rise your prices...
