Yeah, I suppose it would be more correct to say that the Camp draft is a longer oval, though not a true long oval. I still had to give mine a bit of a stretch fore and aft to get it to fit comfortably. Harry- Harry Gooch

fur felt in hot weather?
The hat liners with the plastic tops are killers in the heat. I removed the liners from all of my Akubras, and put them back in during winter time. No worries, even in 30 C heat. I find that the felt nicely insulates my head from the noonday sun. Mad dogs and Englishmen? Harry.- Harry Gooch

Silverbelly Colour I'm having a hard time getting a handle on the silver belly colour, having not seen it in person. Sometimes it looks white, sometimes tan, etc. I think I remember reading somewhere on the lounge that it is an extremely difficult colour to accurately display. Harry.- Harry Gooch

Akubra Snowy River Can anyone of the Loungers who has a snowy river hat tell me the height of the crown if it was pushed into an open crown. I'm thinking of getting this hat, but modifying the bash to something resembling a modified gus. Harry.- Harry Gooch
