This is the commuter rail; nearly always a seat. From Grand Central Terminal (think Waterloo Station), I hop on the subway, where I wear the hat, of course. No place to put it there. Perhaps a coach service, such as the King's Ferry might be worth looking into? :) -

If that's as bad as it looks, and if it truly was a "just walking in the rain" situation (ie not sprayed by a tarmac-laying lorry, slobbering St. Bernard, or rally car as it sailed past), I'm afraid you have no recourse but to send it back. Looks like a defect unlike anything I've yet seen. -

Favorite crown height and brim width
