I most definitely know what you mean!! That awkward gap at the waist comes from having a shapely body and is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of! Changing one's look.
Changing out of the BLACK look I've never gone through a BLACK phase but I can say that some people just don't feel or look good in the lighter pastel colors and I see no problem with that! I wear primarily earth colors; my skin is darker (Native American/Italian) so those light yellows...- Martina
