This is a great looking traditional, vintage needless to say, homburg by Hirsch Hatters Bronx, NY.
2 things to mention... sweat has some missing threads holding the reed down on the rear of the hat, about 4"+/-.
I removed the old dried up and torn onion skin crown cover. It has a...
This is a terriffic hat. Don't miss it cause you won't find another in this shape. The long felt is like new.

This hat has been worn but is in great shape. Boxed for a very long time, a good cleaning/airing out would be in order.
The only flaw in this magnificent felt is a titch of green begining to show at the reed join.
Other than that, button on wind cord darkening and...
A true classic. Soft and supple, begining to show the patina they acquire from age.
Still plenty of summer left for this fine panama!
Stats:
7 1/4 or 22 1/2" cicumf. (the hat is so flexible for it's age, it's hard to measure, it should be slightly larger).
8" X 6 1/2" head opening.
Navy blue...
Specifics:
Still in the original box, unworn.
Green, not drab, more of a spruce??
Sized 7 1/8. 22" circumf., 7 7/8 X 6 3/8" head opening.
6" unbashed, 4 3/4 to center dent. 2 7/8" raw edge brim!

This brown Dobbs Kenley appears to be an old hat from the late 40's or earlier, sold by Rogers Peet Co. There is some good info regarding this hat on the "Dobbs Diner" thread. The hat is a very pleasing rich coffee brown color... maybe espresso?
It measures out:
22 1/8" Circumf. (8" X 6...

Need not be new or the finest hat ever made. Just bright white, good condition, and a size 7 1/4 to a 7 3/8.
Looking for a reasonably priced white straw hat for summer wear. I'd prefer at least a 2 5/8" brim. A fine weave is fine too.
Let me know what you have for sale! I am a very fast...
This hat is beautiful! Medium brown, super-soft, flawless felt. Incredibly light weight. The pugaree is excellent. You can shape the felt anyway you like it is so mallable. This hat is super clean inside and out.
This was advertised as a mans hat, but is not so I am offering it here...
More specifically, am looking for a beater body, but a good sweatband and liner, to replace the crumbling sweat and missing liner in my hat with an excellent body! (brown leather, gold script on sweat)
Need it to be no later than a 1950's. Will add a pic if needed.
Seeking those with smaller craniums who may have interest in a near perfect, size 6 3/4 Stetson. Dated to 1955, this hat was upside down in the box (top up), with a cracked top, for years. Hat is dusty and will need cleaning.
Checking for interest before posting pics. Center creased only...
Any style of wider brimmed, (2 1/4 or more). If it's too much money for me I'll tell you, but I won't insult you by not replying.
Let me see what you have or might consider selling too!
Thanks to Rick Blaines reminder... size 7 1/4 pleeeez!
This is a great lightweight, classic style straw fedora, ready for warm temps. It may be a poly straw just can't tell for sure. This hat may need a stretch, it's a small 7 1/4 or else my hair is growing back? :D
Check out that pug!
The hat and pug have a little more yellow than the...
