Fortworthgal - I'd have thought it would be against an actor/actress' best interests careerwise to overdo it with the surgery, in particular botoxing their faces into oblivion. Surely, one would think their career rests on their ability to move their faces in order to potray emotion, to create...
Not really pinup, but here are some vintage-style pictures my friend took of me a couple of weeks ago in Brick Lane. These are from her digital camera, but she also took some film ones that I haven't got yet.
Correct me if I'm wrong Yeps, but I think it's like this: from a flat foot, the toe comes off the ground, then as the heel comes off the toe comes down and taps, not once (as in a normal pickup), but twice, before the whole foot comes down again. (That's in major slow motion though!)
That's...
:eusa_clap Very impressive. I actually just went and got my tap shoes so I could try that, and failed completely! But then, it took me forever to learn how to do a normal pickup anyway, I've only just got the hang of that :p
Today's post is inspired by paintings by Henry Clive. A story on what might have been the thoughts of one of his models...

I'd really like a nice, mid-50s peachy, corally lipstick. Thing is though, warm colours just don't look that good on me - I generally have to have blue-based red lipsticks, and there's even a noticeable difference when I'm wearing clothes in warmer colours - my skin just doesn't look as good...
Just blogged the story of my 1960s trousers - a girl who wanted to be an astronaut :p

I've been tap dancing since the age of about 9, and I'm now 17. I also take ballet, jazz and contemporary, and I find tap by far the hardest. Not to put you off or anything :p
My favourite part of tap is the names of all the steps, they're so cute! My favourite is shim-sham-shimmy :)
Right...
That looks insane! I shudder to think what that would do to your hair
Swinggal, that's really interesting. I've tried before now to wave my hair from its natural state (ringlets underneath, wavy at the sides and frizzyish at the front :eusa_doh:), but to no avail. Pincurling first is...
I'm a bit of an exercise freak to be honest... I walk two miles to and from school every day, plus an aerobics class and 6 hours of dancing lessons each week. Occasionally I will go for a swim as well. I don't eat as heathily as I could though - I just tend to eat a lot, of everything :p
Anyone know how the Freddies of Pinewood pedal pushers fit? I'm only 5'1, so I don't want them up around my armpits :p Also, I have a 24" waist, would that size come up larger?
Or if anyone could recommend some other 50s denim pedal pushers (preferably at not too high a price!), I'd be grateful.
As someone who hasn't read the original books (I always mean to, but somehow never get round to it :( ), I thought the final episode was absolutely mindblowing. The acting, the production, the storyline... all superb. Does anyone else find Moriarty absolutely terrifying? At first his character's...
New to this thread, but I thought both the last series and this series have been brilliant so far. We need more programmes that actually make you use your head instead of having the plot handed to you on a plate.
Can't wait for tonight's episode!
Just blogged about an old house near me that burned down. Quite interesting if you like a bit of sad creative writing and lots of sunny pictures.

Hi everyone! I'm Emily, I'm a sixth-form student from Essex. I love vintage, partly because the fit is generally bang on the money for someone with a non-standard figure for modern clothes (moi), but also because I find the history behind it fascinating. I've just started a blog with little...
I definitely have a different definition of casual to most people; I mention that I don't own a pair of jeans or a hoodie and people generally look at me in a funny way... I think pulling a dress on is probably easier than jeans and a hoodie, to be honest. But each to their own, I suppose.
