brim edge binding help please

Help a guy out - what's a good Akubra?
I have a banjo and a leisure time different colors and quality but identical shape and brim size. Love them both and though the banjo is a little nicer the leisure time is more comfortable because it's less stiff. The banjo is still breaking in T- birdhunter

Stretching a hat - advice please....
How much can you stretch a hat? I've been going the cheap route to build a collection. Buying 4x cowboy hats and converting them. But I wear 7 3/8 and I don't see as many of them as say 7 1/4 or 7. So how far can you stretch one with steam and a stretcher ?- birdhunter

thanx for the interest guys. I think my problem is i sit fairly strait up so my brim is hitting the headrest. I was just hoping someone had an elegant solution so it is secure and wont go flat. If i figure out a trick ill surely let you know.- birdhunter

How do you carry your hat in your truck?
I like mostly down turned hats like my Banjo Patterson but I can't figure out a good way to rest it without flattening the brim? Suggestions please. Btw bought my first quality hat , my banjo 4 weeks ago and now own 4 more hats since then. I may have a problem- birdhunter
