    I just purchase a used Akubra and there is a bit of pitting of the felt. It is barely noticeable (with the naked eye) but I was wondering if there is a way to repair it? After looking at it under magnification there is quite a bit. Thanks!

    Check out the new used Akubra. Not as classy as the fedora's that the others are posting - particularly the Stetson Playboy! That is one beauty and is on my want list, but every collection needs an Akubra. Will get some use out of it on my ranch here in Cleveland :)

    Thanks! The quality is good - from what I can tell. It is Canadian made. Comparable jackets are double and triple the price and it is really warm.
