Do you long to switch to vaping but only in real style? A real pipe... with no giveaway button to press... just a vintage pipe and sip and vape? Not possible? Oh yes it is! very late commer to this most intreagueing thread. I've just aquired and posted this hat on my usual haunt - a Borsalino thread. I was told there that Tesi probably made it, which seems very likely. I thought so Alan - it makes sense on a straw hat really. But I wonder why I can find no trace of this type of fine Borsalino Bakü - they do make a much heavier weave bakü fedora, but I find it very ordinary, not much of a Borsa' work of art.- Sweatbandjo

Yes, with luck, if you very carefully fold down the sweatband on a Borsalino you often find the hand written or stamped date that the hat was finished. Good luck! Be very careful if the sweatband is dry and brittle.- Sweatbandjo

That replacement hatband looks "the business" Eric. They are more complicated to fit well than one thinks due to the conical nature of the dome.
