Thanks, I’ve seen the sheepskin version, looks good but the sizing seems off - the L seems too large and the M too small for me. Never mind, I might look at Aero.
How do find the IH split steer in terms of comfort and weight compared to the denim?. I got an IH type 3 cord jacket a while ago which is a great fit, would love something in suede also.
Really pleased with this Iron Heart cord jacket I got a few months ago. It’s a 40 which I think is a large. P2P of just over 21” which I thought would be slightly tight but the fit is spot on. Really like it.
I’d love one in leather or suede if I could nail the same fit. Also got an Iron Heart...
Not too difficult for me as I only wear about 3-4 jackets on a regular basis. Usually weather dependent, hence my down jacket has got most wear this winter, followed by my Aero and then my Iron Heart cord type 3.
beautiful boots. I've got a couple of pairs of Trickers in kudu, being quite waxy leather it doesn’t need polishing, just a brush and still looks great after several years.
I’ve just put an order in for a Shackleton in the new chocolate suede. I think it should look great. They look pretty smart and are probably more versatile than a jacket especially in the spring and autumn here.
Get a good tailor or seamstress to have a look, they will offer advice. I’m getting the gussets removed from an aero aeromarine by an experienced seamstress/ dressmaker and it should make a good difference to the fit.

Thanks, they’re are lovely boot. I actually went with a lighter weight vibram gumlite sole which are softer, lighter, quieter and more comfortable than Danite. I’d never buy danite soles again, I find them hard, noisy when walking and downright dangerous on certain surfaces. I see Trickers now...
Treated myself to a nice dark green pair of Trickers from the UK. Custom order with red lining and a lightweight rubber sole. Ordered 5 months ago, finally arrived yesterday.
