My absolute favorite spring/summer riding jacket today for 80. Dainese Kayes from their 72 collection. I get quite a few compliments on it off the bike. You wouldn't ever know there's armor in there and good ventilation
Beautiful day today for a ride. Wearing a Revit Westport overshirt in cordura denim. I use these overshirts as a base layer a lot and have several of them but this is the first time this year able to wear one on its own.
The asset is my favorite Schott..they have one in the store by me. I try it on everytime I walk in and my girlfriend is happy when they are closed, lol!
Theres a long list of jackets that didn't work..Thankfully I dont have pics of some back in the day. That said, the jacket I wanted to work the MOST but just didn't. It was much much worse than this pic in real life. Aero steerhide highwayman zip. I'm going to guess more of us than not have...
There has honestly never been just one grail. There's always been a list. Though the jacket that started it all was my Dad's CR when I was kid. I loved that jacket. Its long gone before I know what I do today. Wish I still had it but Mom sold at a garage sale right before I was almost big...
Wish there was a machine or tool to easily fix this. Its such a common problem you'd think there would be. Someone on here came up with a DIY vs zip replacement. I'll see if I can dig it up.
Wow..this thread turned into X150 gold!
Great looking jackets guys. It realy shows off the potential of X150. I'm on my phone now but looking forward to checking out the pics on the laptop.
I posted this in another thread but more traffic here. For those interested in what Vanson X150 starts to look like when you wear the hell out of it in any weather for a few months. It was VERY smooth, waxy, shiny, and stiff. Its now not really any those things. Grain is coming through, black is...
I'm really starting to make progress on the X150. I wear the hell out of it lately. If its crappy out its the jacket I grab. It was VERY smooth, waxy, stiff, and shiny not long ago. Here's a good shot of what its starting to look like throughout the jacket. Its really is a different jacket...
@2wheelgrplr wearing his Vanson America inspired me to pull out the Schott 671 HH today. I've been neglecting this one lately with the Vansons and Cal but aftet a few miles I was reminded how much I do like this jacket. Its not on level as some of the others for protection but damn is it...
