I know Leonard Nimoy is old so this shouldn't be surprising, but did anyone else think he looked particularly ancient in the movie? I found it a bit of a shock as the last thing I’d watched him in was Invasion of the Body Snatchers (from 1978) on telly. I felt his appearance in this reboot was...- Crumblecrumb

Great fun film. I don’t think you need to be a series fan to enjoy this. In fact from some comments I’ve read here and elsewhere it might help if you’re not. Certainly the first proper ‘event’ movie of the year.- Crumblecrumb

I’ve always wanted to see Parents. I thought the movie poster was wonderfully macabre. Though it did make think of one of those horror films from the mid-80’s with great video covers but the film itself sucked. I'm assuming not though?- Crumblecrumb

I wouldn’t recommend having a tattoo done drunk. Apparently it thins the blood causing you to bleed excessively. Sure, it won’t actually hurt any more, but you’ll ruin your jeans.- Crumblecrumb

The United States of Leland is an little excellent movie. It was recommended to me by a friend. I was skeptical because it looked rather dull. The needle is addictive (and not in a weird, drug related way). I’ve stopped for a bit now, but every time I walk past my tattooist's I get the urge. I should try and make sure I’m permanently drunk, then I’d know for sure that he wouldn’t let me in.- Crumblecrumb

I bought and sold a lot of sixties/seventies vintage clothes as a student. I came across loads of deadstock Levis (684 and 646 lot mainly). I found that the ones I left labels on barely earned more than those I wore for several months myself. Personally though I am sucker for old labels...- Crumblecrumb
