Man this sort of comment winds me up! What the hell do you mean by accurate? There was such a huge variation between different manufacturers of the original jacket, that defining what an original A-2 looks like is impossible. Unless you are talking about comparing a specific repro of an original...- perrins57

Aero Horsehide stain transfer
colour transfer I've had problems with colour transfer on a Brown Highwayman, not to clothes, but to the seat (cream leather) of my Car. HIghwayman I have a highwayman with Alpaca lining as my warm jacket. The lining is indeed warm, but not bulky like new sheep skin lining. Anybody else think the new Eastman Weber looks a bit too light in colour? On their website it appears the same shade as the original, but that would have faded considerably since the 1940's. Eastman or Aero? I've got an Eastman House Seal A-2 and an Aero FQHH in russet. Both are superb for different reasons.
