I went to work as a Railroad Detective in 1974 and at that time there were several men I met who had served in the Railroad Batalions in Europe in WWII. They all told the same story. They said it was the most screwed up mess they had ever encountered. Many of them were sent to Gunnery School...
J. C. Penney's sells a jacket called the Red Kap Perma-Llined work jacket. It comes in black, blue, grey and green. looks just like the Derby Jacket on the website. Don't know anything about the quality of the jacket.
The Old Grandad bottled in bond, 100 proof is great whiskey but is very hard to find. Back in the 60's when I was in the Navy the clubs on base had a house burbon called Old Stag. That was a great cheap whiskey. I don't think they make it anymore. I drink Knob Creek on occasion that is one...
I smoked Camels unfiltered for over fifty years. Luckys and Chesterfield made me cough. I could handle Pall Mall or Old Gold. If I could not get Camels I would try to find Phillip Morris. On occasion I would get a pack of Picayunes but they were hard to find. I can also remember Home Run...

My potential new signature drink

I must come up with a...
1948 Buick
The 1948 Buick would be my choice. After all this was the automobile Robert Mitchum was driving the night he got busted. Roll down the window, light up a Phillip Morris and cruise.
Khaki and a leather jacket.
I often wear khaki pants with a black mock turtleneck and a 1930's style Truck Driver leather jacket from the Cockpit. This jacket is now discontinued but is one of the finest leather jackets i have ever owned.
This look was popular with Clark Gable and George C...
