I don't know if this will interest anyone here, but there is a new book out about adventure comic strips in the 1930s. It's pretty nice with most of the illustrations reproduced from original art, so they look sharp and sweet.

You just added to my Christmas list...for myself that is! I love the comics from that era. I have a nice collection of Dick Tracy from the thirties in hardcover thats real great too. I'll check out the Big Fun also. Thanks for the tip!:cheers1:

Scorchy makes friends with a wombat, the planes get married and Fat sheds a few pounds so the lads start calling him Scrawny.

;)

In fact, much adventure ensues.
