Offering a German 1930's three-piece-suit with a French 1930's shirt and British 1930-40's necktie.
It is too small for me now unfortunately... it was never worn by me and is dry-cleaned.
Cut: Singlebreasted suit with three button front. Wide peak lapels. Shaped, padded shoulders. Well-accentuated waist. Waistcoat with four pockets. Wide cuffed trousers with deep single pleat, watch pocket, adjuster-straps, suspender-buttons and belt-loops.
Fabric: Pure wool. Black herringbone with powder blue/white and rose/white ropestripes
Heavy silky body lining. Sleeve lining and pockets from heavy cotton.
Origin: Germany
Maker: Tailor made (labelled "Feine Massarbeit" – fine bespoke work)
Age: ca. 1935-1940
Condition: Very good to excellent – clean and without significant traces of wear.
There are few pinhead-sized nicks (well darned) near the crotch and one on the back near the collar. See photos! They do not distract and are barely noticeable when worn.
