For sale is a wool suit or 'stroller' jacket, and matching waistcoat, which was made in 1939. From the tag it was made by a South London tailor. The wool used is of high quality and quite thick. There is a small nick in the fabric under the left hand pocket (see photo) but it is is in great overall condition.
If paired with morning trousers it would form a stroller suit, but could be worn with other trousers.
It's too small for me sadly. The seller told me the following measurements: chest 41 inches, arm 25 inches, shoulders 18 inches, back length 29 inches. Please see photos with the measuring tape to decide if it would fit you. I wear a 40/42 in suits and it is too tight for me.
