Lightweight material, I'd say a cotton/ rayon or polyester mix- there is no fabric label? When I got it, there was some bobbling, probably through age and over-laundering. I belive I've cleaned most of this up, but there is also a white mark on the tail end and also a tiny bit of stretching of the stitching under the arms, but the relatively low starting price reflects this. Given the label and cut of the collar- I would say this is late 50s to maybe early 60s before the button down collar replaced the loop collar as the casual shirt collar choice.
