Hi guys, looking for an a-11 watch... not fussed as to the manufacturer, Elgin, Bulova, or Waltham... just a decent condition Crystal and working order... any retailers who regularly stock reasonable examples?.. or anyone looking to sell?... thanks in advance chaps.

A 40's watch in decent condition, nice crystal, working order?
most have broken balances, and all need new mainsprings and service
Expect to pay serious pounds, and go on a long hunt.
many are re-cased or forgerys
Surprised not a broadsword Cyma

Managed to source one in the UK. As far as I can tell, from the info the seller provided it seems legit. Markings on case and markings on movement seem to match what the Elgin resource website suggest they should. Will post some pics when it arrives. If it's a forgery, someone seems to have gone to a lot of trouble for a fairly limited return, hope I don't live to eat those words!
