That's pretty much how it worked for me. Came here looking for reviews and ended up a jacket junkie.

 

Yes, that's how it pretty much strated for me too.

Without TFL I would have probably couple of medium quality leather jackets and a Fjällräven jacket in my closet and I would be obsessing about cars, boats or watches. Come to think of it, my other potential obsession could be much more lethal for my bank account.

 

I came here as a Newboys cap wearer...I now own three Fedoras!!!! It's just not fair!!! Once the ladies go bonkers over me with a fedora, I'll forgive everyone!!!!

 

It's not healthy to hold a grudge against us for the rest of your life.

 

No grudge...…….just waiting patiently to being taken advantage of by the ladies while wearing fedora!!! When that happens, I'll retire half of my newsboys/Peaky Blinders...……..

 

I started with just one fedora and then allowed my eyes to stray to other categories......then just a few jackets, then just a few vintage items.......it is indeed a slippery slippery slope

 

By the time you realize it...it's already too late. Welcome home.

 

Depends on your age. I was complimented by an attractive much younger woman. I was well pleased until she spoiled the moment by adding that I reminded her of her grampa!

 

I've been trying to manage my addiction by setting clear ambitions. Round 1, need the essentials. That's a 1) cross zip biker, 2) café racer, 3) a2, and 4) long driving style coat. I've already got 1, 2, and 4 (Aero Hooch Hauler, newly acquired Aero Cafe Racer, and Alexander Leathers Montana). 3 will come soon enough, I'm sure.

But here's where I'm feeling the disease take root. I'm thinking, well I've got this beautiful Russet cross zip, why not get a classic Schott Perfecto, for a great price on ebay of course? Then I'm sure I'll add a highwayman or another straight zip in there. And so round 2 begins.

And then the distinctions become more and more precise...

 

There are worse addictions, like coke and hookers.
