I received a new VS last night; it's a thin-ribbon in powder blue light-weight felt. The brim is 2 5/8" and it has a really neat gray sweatband. Thanks for the fantastic hat, Art!
great add to your VS family.
That's a fine looking hat Jauntyone! The powder blue is mind blowing, in some photos it looks really blue, and in others very grey.
Awesome hat, Jauntyone! That one is right up my alley!
Strange that I am writing this applaud from Stuttart the Homeland of Daimler Benz... Great Montecristi!!!
Thanks, guys! This one is a beauty, for sure!
wow-- beautiful! It looks very close to silver belly on my monitor.
Yowzers! That's gorgeous. :eusa_clap I'm eager to see what crease you give it and what suit & tie you pair it up with.
Lightweight for the Summer.....and beyond
Finally had a chance to snap a few photo's of my (not so) new Artlite. It's a couple of months old now and I'm still excited every time I wear it.
It's a Silvermist, which is a beautiful white/light grey/light blue - another of Arts beautiful colors. As far as the weight, I swear, if it was any lighter it would float away.
The ribbon treatment is 1 3/4 inch (19 Ligne) light grey with blue/green tones; the brim is a 2 3/4 inch underwelt, the crown wears a teardrop bash.
Shot shows the cute little "Tip Sticker", also shows some of the stich detail that normally is covered with a full lining.
And, last but not least, a 'resting' shot leaning against one of Arts hat blocks (to which I've added legs)
Hope you enjoy, I know I am.
That's purty, Cliff.
Awesome! That's a really nice felt color.
I am diggin it Cliff.
Beauty, Cliff. I have 3 Art Lites, and they are incredibly lightweight, but still hold their shape.
Very Nice, I like it Cliff......good choice...
That's a great hat, Cliff!
Wow, Cliff - that is one of the nicest VS hats I've yet seen!
Doesn't Art do a super job with his welted brims? I always know there are stitches there, but really hard to spot.
Nice looking hat!
I agree, that edge looks like...."perfection"!
...and the lighter colors are even more lightweight than the darker ones. I have a Blue Smoke & it is discernibly lighter than the Natural & Pecan ArtLites I have.
