I agree. He looks to be riding a McClellan saddle which makes me wonder, what's he on the lookout for and for whom?

During my flea market, thrift, estate sale-ing hunts I've been keeping an eye out for old magazines, for any of those nice hat ads from the 40s-50s. Yesterday I found 5 LIFE magazines dated 1939-1942. I flipped through every page until on the final magazine on the reverse of the cover I found this great color, full page suit ad. Took it home and already had a frame that it fit in perfectly. The page is 14" x 10.5"

Paid $1 for the single page. Its now framed and hanging next to my closet. Great find I'm quite pleased with! Also the reverse of the page is the LIFE magazine cover dated July 12th 1939
