WM Fox & Co (a DC menswear store) sells Bill's Khakis and it is right up the street from my office. I ordered two pair of Bill's worsted-wool gabardine (M1) trousers and they arrived this evening. Since the tailor was in I went to get the pants hemmed.
One pair is British Khaki and the other just "Khaki." These trousers are great! The fabric is really nice and is much nicer than the Corbin and Majer trousers that I ordered a couple of years back. I pulled the Bill's trousers close to 1/2 inch above my belly button and they are just about perfect. For me, there is enough rise to pull them up even higher if I wanted (think Ed Grimley lol ).
I'm having buttons for braces sewn in as well.
I'll try to get some pictures up once the tailor is done.
