Bomber Crew Living History Groups?

Hey Gang,

I know there are many folks that have varying bomber related "impressions" they've put together. I wonder though are there any East Coast "groups" who do this impression? Tentatively looking into the creation of a enlisted bomber crewman kit. Just wanted to see who else is out there.

Been searching for stuff on crew uniforms just to see what's out there. Any advice appreciated.

www.capitalwingaps.org Where in MD are you? We have several members in Maryland. I live on the Eastern Shore, we have another member in Pasadena, one in Edgewater and then some in Western MD. Other members of the "local" wing hail from VA, WV and PA. We are always looking for new members. We do varying impressions, sometimes doing fighter squadrons, but most often doing bomber. I rarely do flight crew myself, instead I'm working on a Chaplain's impression. But we have people who portray Navigators, Pilots, Gunners. And also all sorts of ground echelon stuff. From maintenance to special services sports equipment. I won't be there this weekend coming up. But a bunch of the gang will be set up at Ike's Farm in Gettysburg for the event there.

I live in Havre de Grace which is about 35-45 minutes North of B-more.

Ideally, I'd want to put together a gunner's kit, most likely a waist-gunner.

That's really cool! Not many guys get that particular. Will Snyder does. He's our West Virginia member. He does tail gunner.
